Inpatient Therapy
The Therapy Department at Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care is focused on restoring your greatest functional potential. Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care helps to ensure that all of the patient’s needs are met before, during and after their hospitalization.
The Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is comprised of 16 skilled beds. Swing beds are also available, and the same level of care is provided as on SNF.
A full staff of healthcare professionals is available including:

- Restorative Services
- Mental Health Services (CRC)
Therapy services are available six days per week on the SNF and Swing. Our therapists have versatile backgrounds, which include extensive training in:
- NDT (Neurodevelopmental Treatment)
- Geriatrics
- Vestibular Disorders
- Neurologic Insults (Stroke, Head Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
- Post-op Orthopedic Care
- Gait Analysis
- Pain Management
- Manual Therapy
- Urinary Incontinence
- ADL’s
- Adaptive Equipment
- Vital Stim
Discharge planning begins on admission to ensure that the patients and their families are prepared for and comfortable with the transition to the next level of care (home, outpatient, assisted living or nursing home).
